Primer Bulb

I'v been having some lack of fuel issues for the last few months on takeoff... I just push in the choke button while running and problem solved until the next time.. Anyway, primmed my bulb the other day and it took forever to prime because the thing seems like it had a vacuum to it... Once I got it to prime after mashing this vacuumed looking bulb the thing got real tight... Is the bulb bad?

While you are pumping the bulb up hold it as vertical as possible and see if it holds prime. Could be the check ball in the bulb has gotten stuck. If so replace it with a BRP bulb 3/8" fittings (yellow).
