I haven't thrown that many. But I did SMOKE'EM one day on a white or pearl colored wakebait made by Buckeye Lures.

I plan on throwing some LC RC jointed wakebaits this year. Heard they are pretty good! I am going to use it on a 6'6" M w/ 6.4:1 reel

Im not much on throwing wake baits, but if the RC one is anything like his cranks then I might have to get one or 15..

7" MS Slammer. Absolutley KILLER late spawn/post spawn bait. I like the light rainbow trout pattern because of all the stocker trout we have in our lakes, but I know pearl white works great as well.

I've tried the RC's and Xcalibur wakebaits and just haven't had that much luck

no wake bait guru here but I have had some luck with the RCs usually throw it when I am getting short strikes on topwater during prespawn
