Baits for spooted bass?????

What are some baits you use going after river spotted bass? Ohio river is where I am trying So I can use some help with the spots.

If there is some current, slow roll a 1/2 white spinnerbait. If no current and the water is fairly clear, shakey head or a small finesse jig.

Leadhead and grub or a Bandit crank bait.

Don't forget a little 1/4 oz rattle trap. The spots around here kill those things.

1/8 white road runner type baits do well, but they blow to cast.
