i fish it texas rigged with a pegged sinker...
I add a splitshot about 6-12" up the line.

About 80% of the time, I fish it Fla rigged (TX rigged pegged) with a 1/4oz screw-in bullet weight and a 3/0 ewg hook. Most of the time, I'm pitching it to grass or laydowns and pulling it out, or crawling it along riprap.
If I'm pitching docks, I TX rig 1/8oz bullet weight with the same hook.
I have, on occasion, carolina rigged it. I've never done a splitshot rig with it. I use centipedes for that.

Same here.
Full size brushhogs, I use a 3/16 or 1/8 oz. bullet sinker unpegged...big enough plastic that it really flutters down to the bottom, many hits on the drop...Babys, I usually use a 3/16 and get less hits on the drop and more on the hop...![]()
