Affect of Rising/Falling Water on Bass

I have heard several opinions on how rising or falling water levels affect a bass's behavior. Is there a definitive answer on where bass go when the water in a lake is rising/falling?

On Ray Hubbard (or any other lakes), what do bass do when:
the north dam (Lavon) is open and south dam (Hubbard)is closed?
the north dam is closed and the south dam is open?

    Thanks.

Using Russell as an example if the lake is riseing the fish will go shallow or on the side of structure that is sheltered from the current. Allso with lakes that move water like this the fish tend to bite better when the water is moveing, as opposed to when its not. If the dams stop pumping after filling the lake fish shallow, if the stop after droping it, fish deep vertical structure as the fish will usualy suspend.

Generally, but if you watched the Sooner Run coverage last weekend, you'll notice that Kevin Short was still fishing the thickest junk he could get into, not the outside edges. The lake had been pulled hard for 6 or so days at the time of the taping. (last day of the tourney). Id say that for the most part his theory worked as almost all of the other guys in the top 12 didnt fish shallow, or at least not much.
