regular round bend worm hooks. extra wide gap hooks blow
I only use wide gap. always have worked better for me. I like having the big opening on worms and such for easier slip for hookset.
I am the opposite, since I have switched to EWG's (Hookerz especially) my hook up ratio has increased substantially. I don't know if there is a right or wrong answer, maybe more personal preference. This is just my opinion though
