    Comments on the new Berkley Beast?

    Anyone tryed them? What do ya think of them?

    I have not tried them but they don't look like anything spectacular to me. If you are looking for a gliding action craw look at the bakubaits gliding craw. This bait has been out for about 4 years now and has worked great for me in FL and now in NC.

    Iv'e used them and like them,but prefer the sweet beaver for pitching. If you'r fishing slop and snot another way to fish the beast is to rig it weightless on a light wire hook and limp line, something like 20# braid, cast it out and start walking it back like a plastic frog, since it is flat and light it will walk and bob just like a frog, and with it being so light you can stop working it and it will float for a few seconds before it sinks, and it sinks extremely slow.
