Which Fluorocarbon line do you guys use?

I started using P Line florocarbon about 2 years ago for dropshots and finesse worming (8 # test). I like all the positive things......... low stretch etc............ but I hate the twist and coils I get it on my spinning rigs. Just curious if another brand of floro might have less of these problems? Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I tryed seaguar carbon pro this past weekend and like the strength, I haven't tryed the invisex yet, but here that it is more managable. Keeping you're spool soaked in reel majic helps.

Lubricates, and keeps the line from getting as stiff.

Pappy, are you using a swivel? If not, give it a try. I began using one this year and it has reduced my line twist considerably. I tie mine about 10" above the hook.

It's expensive so I use backing on all my reels but I think Sugoi from Yamamoto is the best line made. I get no memory or coiling and the stuff lasts for a year. I absolutely think P-line is an over rated product and it has a nasty memory. JMO.

I use the invisex. It is the best flouracarbon that I have tried. I use it on spinning reels and for cranking. I want to try the sun linr but I cant see 40.00 a spool. I also started with pline.

The Flouroclear is a Flourocarbon-coated line. It still has more stretch to it than pure flouro's. It is affordably priced, and is a great line, in my experience. I use the 12#, & 15# for a lot of technics. The 12# is as smooth as you can ask for, and it is pretty tough too. I throw a lot of light Tex. rigs on it, and it is a good mid-range cranking line too.

Ed, I have tried several flurocarbons and did not like most of them. I plan to try the Sunline as I have heard good things about it, and I have had good results with the Fluro-Clear from P-line although I prefer to use the XXX

Yamamoto's Sugoi Flurocarbon is excellent, but rather expensive. Best I have used, especially the dropshot lines in lighter tests.

One word of warning, all flurocarbon will get brittle in cold weather and break easily because it has no stretch. Most manufacturers will tell you not to use it when water temps are below 40.....I found out the hard way

I think Triton Mike Bucca is sponsored by them (Triplr-Fish), but not sure. I remember him talking about that line once, but don't remember much about it

Seaguar but I don't use it on a spinning reel. Playing with braid right now, thinking about adding a fluoro leader ???????????????????? Don't have to worry about kinks with the braid and I get most of jigs back when I'm crappie fishin'

I've had no problems with Seaguar in cold water, but the first and only spool of berkley vanish I had was extremely brittle in cold water, really even worse than normal.
