Just finished all my tournaments for the year and want to fish at Nottoway and/or Perquimans Rivers. What effects did the hurricane have on the rivers? Are they catching any fish there?
Heard that Perquimans is coming back. Any truth to this?

I've only fished the Perq since the last hurricane and can tell you that I believe the river was affected to some degree but not as bad as previous years. Meaning you can still eek out a limit if you know the river.
Cant speak for any of the other Carolina rivers.

The same goes for the Nottaway but the river fishes a lot different during the week vise the weekend due to boat traffic on the weekend.

Nottaway fishes pretty good on the weekdays.This was yesterday.

Fished the munkey Friday, had the river to myself, no other boats?? A little windy, no alot windy. two of us caught around 20, had five smallies, 2 that were real nice.
Good fish and healthy looking.
