2011 Military Bass Team TX (Clarks Hill Lake) Wish me luck!

Morning Gang, heading out on the lake this morning for the first time. Looking forward to the experience, weather is nice and I hear there are plenty of fish to be caught! Wish me luck!

Thanks Guys for the encouragement; looks like me and my partner is going to need all the luck we can get!! Well we did catch a few today and it was a grind. Not many laydowns here. Looks like it will be mostly C-Rigging on the points; not my best technique but I can learn

    Frank,
Get yourself a 1/2 or 3/4 ounce football jig and throw that while he's throwing a rig.

Not to worry Jim, if they are all gone, (and I don't believe there are any of any size anyway) it won't be because of me. All I'm able to find so far are 12-15 inches.
Our Tx starts tomorrow and I guess I'll get to see some big uns

Good luck Frank..Hopefully you've just been weeding out the littles ones so when the tournament starts the bigs ones will turn on. Be safe, see you soon.

Well, thanks again Guys for the tips and encouragement. Didn't catch fish like I needed too until the last day(Friday). We were not able to find water I was used to fishing until then and it was on from there (5/11.19 lbs). The other two days were terrible, overall we were 63 out of 126 teams. And best of all met some great Military Veterans and Ray Scott to boot.
