Quite a few houses damaged beyond repair with a mile odf my house,no injuries or fatalities, how I don't know.

Tornado hit about 1/2 mile from my house in Williamsburg. Went out to look at the damage yesterday. I have never seen trees topped like that in my life. I count myself lucky! Major damage to a few houses but that thing ripped a path about 400 yards wide through the Naval Weapons station. It can be seen from 64 just as you get to exit 243 as your heading west.

Looks normal here in Hampton that I've seen. On person in Gloucester that was killed worked at Stephanies company. She didn't give me their name. Prayers for everyone is needed.

The worst missed me. Prayers for those so terribly affected.
A tornado missed me by about 5 miles. Knotsnatcher was not so lucky. Damage to his truck and house.

A tornado touched down nearby in Stuarts Draft. This is big news around here since the Shenandoah Valley hardly ever sees a tornado. Ben Howells farm auction and new haybarn was demolished, also Menno Yoders sawmill was hit pretty hard as well. Everyone survived the tornado however, Unfortunately a 41 year old woman and small daughter were swept away to their deaths when trying to cross a swollen creek (I believe on foot)
