Dan, I believe you might know the Brewer family better than anyone else here on BBC. Do you believe the family might benefit by a charity or some other form of support? Standing by to assit with organizing and planning an event if needed. As the story continues to unfold, its absolutely horrific what has happened to this family.
Rob we are trying to put a tournament togather for the weekend of the 13th of Nov. That is the earliest that we can have it due to the twenty man and the CMN Tx. We were looking at a 50% payback and of course donations. River Snake will post the flyer once he has it finalized. Thanks for the thought.

Dan let me know the details, i'm sure most of the guys in my club would be there. since phill has been in our club for several years. Its an horrible situation especially knowing how much he love his son and really that was his only family by blood that lives around here. Lance could not wait to turn 16 so he could fish in our club full time .
I will be there even if I have to come down with a sudden cough....Good cause..
When you get more information on the dates/times launch area, I want in on helping, I also have a set of scales (table top), fish drain tank for weigh in, (i am the region 3 tbf tour. director)Let me know how I can help.

Thanks Guys for all the support thus far...River Snake will have the flyer out before the end of the week. We have a few businesses that have pledged money already along with some fellow fishermen. We are keeping track of everyone that has volunteered support so far and if needed we will contact them.
Guys and Gals- Just to keep all of you updated. The Benefit Tournament will be November 14th at Chickahominy River Front Park (Rt5). I will contact them in the morning and get a flyer posted . The tournament will have a $60.00 entry fee and a 50% payout and we should have a few items to raffle off with all proceeds going to Phil Brewer. For those of you who will not be fishing in the tournament but wish to make a donation please make your check out to "Virginia Bass Region 8 and ref; Phil Brewer Benefit" and bring it to the tournament site or mail to;
