    What happened on the James today

    a boater in a ranger was killed today on the james. does anyone know what happened or who was in the boat?

    Found this story about a 13 year old kid killed today by the James River Bridge. Prayers going out to his family.

    It was Phill Brewer's son , he fishes in region eight and Nasa langley club . His son lance was a great boy and will be missed dearly. Phill is still in the hospital with eight broken ribs at riverside. I went up there tonight to see him and its going to be a long rode ahead. Please pray for phill and his family.

    Father and son were in an older Ranger when this happen......details sketchy so far...involved the Ranger and a Seatow. ..prayers for the family

    I could be very wrong on this, so correct me if I'm wrong. I just watched it on Wavy10. It looks like the Ranger was hit by Seatow and capsized. Looks like the passenger side took the blow. Sad for sure...Please be careful out on the water as we all run the risk everytime on the water...

    I went to the hospital last night to see Phil, and I don't think it has set in yet that he has lost his son. He is in room 532 at Riverside...Please keep his family in your
