Anybody fished Gaston lately?

Hey guys, trying to figure out where I am going Sunday. Haven't been to Gaston in almost a month, just wondering if anyone doing any good there....Might just stay around here and hit a river, pad bite seems to be on.

I havent fished it since March, but thats the story every time I fish there .

i fished it 7/5/10 the day after the fourth. I never got a bite from daybreak til 11:30 put the boat on the trailer and went on home. I was also fishing in 4 ft swells from all the jetskis and party boats.

Fished our club tx on Friday night and brother was it slooooow. The water temp at 2 am was still at 87 degrees. Put a couple of fish in the boat and they were hot. All I can tell you is fish slow and find deep water.

So I'm not crazy, this is the slowest I've seen it for this long.

Seems like it is same everywhere. Only place I have been able to put any sort of consistent bite together is the Munkey. All the lakes, and James, Chick, and Potomac have been tough.

I've got 2 deep spots I can catch them on, but other than that it is tuff!
