I'll try to make this short. After running across the lake @ 3/4 to full throttle, sometimes my ficht won't start without pumping up the ball. Pump the ball, fires right up. If I run across the lake and then hit a slow no wake zone, sometimes it seems to girgle or misfire like it's leaning out (RPM's go up a little then settle). Check ball, soft. Pump the ball, all seems fine. I thought it might be a bad Ball seems how I have never changed it (i've owned the boat for 6 years). My local rude dude seems to think it might be the fuel lift pump. Any thoughts??????
ps, the ball gets good and hard when pumped.
