Sterling we go to wv a couple time a year an ride , we have a blast .All 3 of us have bikes and we ride on the farm but that gets old quick. Love my ktm
I have sixty acres in New York (40 mine 20 on my sisters) that butts up to a 14000 acre state forest. We usually go up in July and all my brother in laws like to ride my bike. We have a good time. I have to be careful who I let ride my bike because it can flat out hurt you in a split second. It has so much torque. I weigh 280 and in third gear I can snap the throttle and it will stand up with me on the gas tank. I love it.
We have about 8 of us that ride together ,gavin got his first bike on his 3rd birthday,Amy rides a crf 230 .Last year we but together a team an raced the 24 hr Perry mountain enduro in Alabama. We also go to Carolina Adventure World an ride ,That place rocks!
There used to be a place in Surry County (Suffolk) that my daughter and I used to go to, to ride our ATV's but for the life of me I can't remember the name or find it on the internet anymore so it might have closed.

I use to ride a CR250 back in my younger days. It was hard enough to find a place to ride back then.

Slades is your best bet. But there is a few dirt bike clubs that have land to ride, just like a fishing club/hunting club. Pay your dues and fees and ride all you want. Prolly do a google search and find some clubs and ride close to you somewhere. I used to ride RM500 and CR250. Wish I would of never sold them....
Used to play a bit on a Suzuki 100 and a Sachs 125 as well as a Norton P11 Ranger 750. Many years ago. Rode out off Diamond springs road before the industrial stuff was built...also over around the borrow pit at the intersection of 64/264/664 at Bowers Hill, and a track in Mathews and one off Military Hwy in Chesapeake, and another not far from the airport off 64 in Hampton... . All gone now....![]()

Mike I have called one waiting on a call back. The bikes we had that are worth something now. How about a wombat combat..I have a 76 Can am 250 that a guy was going to throw away that I brought home. I am looking forward to rebuilding. I have a guy that wants to race it in the vintage class when and if I ever finish rebuilding it.
I like the new stuff. Push a button and it starts and as much as I get thrown that is a good feature to have.![]()
Sterling, there is a moto track you can ride just down the road from where we put in at Stonehouse Creek a couple weeks ago. The guy that owns it's name is Buddy Isles. If you call information ask for Littleton, NC and get the number for Buddy Isles Automotive. I see a lot of campers parked there on the weekends. I think he calls it Lake Gaston Motocross Park.
Thanks for the info Gastonbass.
They actually have a web site. I will be checking them out in the next couple weeks.![]()
