What an unbelievable morning....

I went down to the Perq this morning just for a couple of hours. I was pretty far back in a creek throwing a jig at some wood. I had caught two dinks, but that was it....about ready to pack it in and head to the house....

All of a sudden I heard something bust behind me...turned around to see bass coming out of the water on a huge school of shad, right in the the 8' chanel in the middle of the creek. Tossed in the jig and BAM...as soon as it hit the water....unhooked, tossed again...BAM. In 15 minutes I had boated 5 fish...every one of them fat and long...3+...one was easily 4.5. Just as quick as they started they were gone...but man what a great 15 minutes!!!

Why can't stuff like that happen on tourney day???

Yep happens all the time just to the guy that wins the tx. Glad it was a good trip.
