This weekend was homecoming for the Enon football association, the bad first, poor kids didn't even score a touchdown at any level, flag through senior.

The good, my youngest daughter was elected to the homecoming court. She was so excited when they called her name that she almost couldnt walk up to claim her tiara.
Sunday was the first cheer competition of the season up in Richmond, the Enon girls placed all the way across the board. Minors 2nd place, Juniors 3rd place, and seniors 1st place.

If she could have smiled any bigger at the end of the day yesterday, her poor face would have broke

I played for Chester in the CQL league many "many" years ago. (now the Bengals....you know PC!) Some of the best 6 years of my life was playing little league football, and we sucked for 6 years straight, maybe had a total little league record for 6 years of 12 - 36....played right there on that field at Point Rocks many times......Everyone should practice to win and play to win, but it is not everything...glad you all had a great day and good memories!

CQL follows the school zones, so a couple of years ago when the new elementary school was built, an additional association was formed, with that our zone lost a good many kids, coaches, and dedicated volunteers. They have struggled for a "W" ever since then. Everyone still refers to Chester Bengals as Chester. They had a pretty jam up minor team last year, not sure about this year though.
