    Dead Bass on Potomac

I launched a Hope Springs this morning. There were about 6-7 dead bass floating with 2 being around 5lbs. While fishing a grass bed in Aquia i counted 3 more dead bass. Up around Wade's Bay the wind was blowing right into it. There was a bunch of dead ones there. I talked to another guy and he said there were so many from the Stren event in Smallwood it was sickening. Tournaments in hot weather are tuff on the fish. Run that water and carry some ice.

you would figure, with an event that size that they would supply rejuvenate. I know in our region they gave each of us a small bag on potomac. It's a crying shame to hear of fish kills like that

We fished one last saturday night at Smith and the guys had taken care of their fish .I used ICe and rejuvinate and after everbody weighed we had 6 just come to the top and die . I am wondering if the iced water puts them in shock when you put them back in the lake ?
