Good morning. We are sitting her watching the water rise in the canal
here at Tunis. Its come all the way up the boat ramp beside the store.

The little house (Green) thats at the end of our canal is completely surrounded by water .

So we will see how high it gets this AM.

I think the store will be fine. We have all put our boats over at the wildlife landing and also the golf carts and cars.

Hope all stay safe today and it will be out of here soon ! (I HOPE )

I decided not to go out to the property I hunt cuz of the storm.

Was gonna put up some treestands and game cameras, but from what the weather is saying, out there is where the wind and rain is the worst.

We definitely need the rain out there, heck, the beaver pond, which was 6 or 7 ft deep last year, was gone 2 weeks ago.

I think your right. It is now 11:00am the last 15 min have been the strongest wind ive seen so far. Chowan is on the rise. BUt as soon as the winds switch it will lower quickly.
