    What tropical storm?

So who is attempting to fish this Saturday with the ever eluding storm heading our way? Is the storm still heading our way? Haven't had a chance to look at the weather.

Club tournament on the Roanoke River, will decide at ramp go-or-no go unless trees and power lines are down preventing us from getting there!

Forecast does not look good. Last report said making landfall 8 am saturday near Myrtle Beach and running north and east along coast line. At this point, they show probability of eye crossing us noonish in area of Franklin to Suffolk. Hopefully, since it has been shown to be moving more and more to the east, it will pass us east of VA Beach...

Best day I have ever had was the day after a hurricane blew thru NC, Buggs Island was smoking for me.

There are two keys to both of these observations.
    1. the day after
    2. a little rain

I ll be on the scuppernon, get out the rain gear and make sure the bulgepumpS are working

Checked mine a few weeks back. I left the plug out on purpose, just so I could make sure the auto pump worked as advertised.....

I once thought that my autopump was working with my ski boat a few years back while camping. It rained hard all night and the boat was anchored. Luckily I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to check on the boat. Hmmm "The back end of the boat sure looks low" O SNAP! Water started coming in the sides. I was freaking out. O the memories

Greenville Marine's classic is Sat. up on Gaston Lake. Maybe this will keep the jet skiers and wakeboarders inside.
Did fish in a tropical storm a few years ago and had an excellent day of fishing....
