I know the Kerr Lake website lists many open tournaments.
Thanks reddman.The kerr Lake site only seems to have trail tournaments posted anymore.Very few open tournaments seem to get posted on there anymore.![]()
I know the kerr site throws up open here and there...I have not been there for a couple weeks.....

I know a few of you really like the 'munkey and thought some of you might be interested in these open T's. I only live 20 mins from there so I'll hit a few of them, normally a ok turnout 10 -15 boats. Hope to see some of you out there, shoot me a message if your planning on going.

April 12th - 6:30 am to 2:30 pm

October 12th - Classic â 7 am to 4 pm
Please review the tournament rules listed on back. Times listed are approximate (low light, fog, etc.). For information or questions contact Lee Allison (804)731-6350. Pre registration not required. $10.00 per boat held back from each qualifying tournament to go towards the Classic Fund, which will be paid back 100% at the Classic. Progressive Big Fish Pot of $5.00 per boat optional, awarded for any bass weighing over 8 lbs throughout the tournament season. If no bass weighing more than 8 lbs is weighed during the season, the Pot will be split between the Big Bass of the Season and the Big Bass of the Classic. Point's breakdown will be 50 points for 1st, 48 for 2nd, 46 for 3rd, 44 for 4th, 42 for 5th and one point on until all boats weighing fish have been awarded points. Any boat not weighing fish will receive 5 points less than the last boat to weigh a legal tournament fish, with all points counted to determine Points Champion. Tournaments will be held in all cases except in the event of a natural disaster or severely inclement weather (severe weather warnings such as hurricanes, tornadoes).

Mike I think there is an open on the 22nd. I think it's out of Pea Hill. I will try to find out for sure. I might fish it myself.

you are right, the guys that run the three rivers tournament trail are having an open tourney at Pea Hill and it's $100 a boat.

For the Bass Tournament out of Tunis on March 22 the fee is $40.00 per boat (2 men per boat max) Xtra $10 for Big Fish caught. Starts at 11 AM.
Doubt if anyone is interested since this is a BASS fishing website but there will also be Catfish Tournament out of Tunis on April 19. Fee $20 per boat.
You can call with any other questions to 252-358-1001 Tunis landing Bait & Tackle. Ask for Fred about either tournament.
