How much pulling force does it take to lift a ultrex??

Dies anyone know how much pulling force in lbs does it take to lift a ultrex with only transducer on it? I tried to look it up but could not find anything. Why I’m asking is recover from hernia surgery and trying to figure out when I can go back fishing. Doc said don’t lift any over 10 lbs!

Take a fishing partner and have him or her handle the trolling motor? I'm not sure sure how much force is required, although mine has a 360 and an LVS32 attached, and it seems kinda heavy without a strut upgrade.

I had the same exact question after my hernia surgery and never got a straight answer. Probably the best suggestion I got was to use my fish scale and hook it to the handle and weigh it as you pull it up.

My 80#, 52" Ultrex is a real bull calf to lift and deploy. One thing I found that really helped was switching out the OEM cable and handle with a BoB's Machine Shop handle and cable. The Bob's cable is a good deal shorter and the handle is much larger and really helps in the lift. It seems the shorter cable puts me into more better position to lift it straight up and then deploy it all in one motion.

If I had to guess, I would say it's about a 30 or 25 lb. lift.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
