    Trim switch wiring

I have a 2025 H20C boat that only has trim switch on the gearshift.

I’ve bought a trim switch that’s going on the bow and a blinker type switch.
Does anyone have a schematic for the trim circuit. I’m wondering if I have to tap into trim wires at the shifter or do these wires connect at the switch panel on side of the console. Does anyone know if I can tie in at the switch panel?

If you pull the panel with the console switches you might get lucky and see the secondary trim switch wiring tucked in there without having to pull your shifter. Will be three wires (red, blue, and green). That's where mine was anyway. Red is your power and the other two are up and down (can't remember but easy to figure out).

Thanks for the information. That would sure make things easier if the wires are already there. I was already surprised there wasn’t a trim switch at the bow. I’ll check it out.

In all of the years I’ve owned and rigged my own boats, the trim wiring was always:
    Red - power (hot)
    Green - “down” (ground)
    Blue - “up” (sky)

But on my current 2024 Xpress, the trim wires to the trim switch at the bow are opposite - blue is down and green is up. I feel like someone at the factory connected them like that in the shifter access and just didn’t fix it once they got to the panel.

Who knows what they did. I’ll keep an eye out for that.
I always seen it the same way you said it should be, blue sky, green water.

There's stuff on mine that makes me think it was rigged on a Monday or Friday. I fix stuff as I find it.
