Motorguide Xi5 cables?

I pulled the boat out of storage to find the cables to my Xi5 disintegrated. I can find the power cord all day long but it looks like the GPS one you have to buy as a unit even though it looks like it screws off at the module? Can anyone confirm this?

Yes... according to my searches you must purchase the $350.00 GPS module to get the the cable that runs in the center of the power cable. I replaced the power cable a few years ago. My Xi5 needed the GPS module any way as it had failed. I'm making the move to the Power Pole Move instead of fixing the Xi5.

I stated you have to replace the GPS module to replace the cable between the base and the head. Pretty expensive fix for something so minor

I dunno... once the sheathing is gone. The next to go is the foil shielding. Then the GPS module. In my experience. Besides, appearance wise it looks horrible!

I have some good heat shrink, I may try to cover it up. I did find some better pics and it's hard wired at one end.
