Bought a 97 ranger with a merc 150 efi. Runs and idles great when you crank it. After running and then killing it fish for a while it takes some convincing to start and Idles terrible. Once on pad runs great, but when I let her down she idles rough again. Any help appreciated.
need a spark test as well as inspecting fuel pump diaphragm and fuel psi testing to start with , Atrain your engine has much diff electrical system it is a cdm ign engine

mines at the shop now, said they fuel pump has some issues so he's gonna try that first. mine also had new plugs.
