    Trim making noise

Mercury V8 serial number 3B426527 250 hp pro xs.
Trim making cracking and clunking noises at intermittent times.
Bolts installed on tilt tube and greased liberally.
    Tilt indicator has new bushings.
Motor has less than 100 hours on it.
    What causes this problem?

You may have already done this, but mine was making a similar noise. I had to put a Dab of grease on the end of the two trim rams. There is a little ball, that fixed mine.

Yeah, grease on the rollers. If that doesn't solve it check level and purge air.

Need to grease those "balls" regularly. Add it to your regular maintenance plan.
