Had the day off and thought I would try Binder out. I think I’ve been fighting some sort of flu bug for a couple weeks. Just tired in the morning and body aches,headache ect anyway the plan was to get out early but my alarm went off and knowing I didn’t have to work I shut that thing off and slept another hour Lol.. still on the water by 7am. Water is low, saw 72-73 for temperature. Put the Ultrex on high and pointed it to the back of a cove. As I was going started taking out rods. Once to the back started catching them really good on a swim bait and top water. I caught a lot of 12-13” bass.. Moved out of that spot in search of some bigger fish. Moved north and did get 2 three pounders on a buzzbait. Pretty much covered most of the bank and all the good off shore spots and ended up with 5 keeper bites and 13.05lb total. I also think Binder has a carp problem now. Lots of them up shallow sharking around… should get out tomorrow morning hopefully.
