Adding a recirc timer

I just bought an Avid 20XB. There is a recirc but it’s either on or off. I would like to add a timer chip, preferably inline to avoid having to add a flow rite type control in the dash. There are switches but not rocker type, it has the push button style. What are you guys doing to add timers to boats that don’t have them? I’ve seen the $140 flow rite systems and the $30-40 inline chips on Amazon. Show me what you got.
