Starting a new golfer in the family!
My middle grandson graduates high school tonight.
Took him for a fitting for irons at La Fortune golf course in Tulsa where he has been trying to play the lighted par 3 course I used to play many years ago.
He hit his first bucket of balls there during the fitting.
The Asst Pro helped him with swing tips throughout and had him hitting the ball fairly well by the end.
Great guy who loves starting kids and will be there to help my grandson with his game when I am not.
Kid is 6'3" and 195. If he ever hits it square it will go a mile.
Happy kid with new irons on the way soon.
Taylormade Qi with upgraded shafts. Should last him a few years until he really improves.
Hopefully a lifetime of fun with his friends and family.

Well done! Your last sentence says it all.
Our 3 boys never had an interest, but now that our youngest is moving up in the corporate world he wants to learn. He has a friend who played college golf and is getting help from him.
