Possible Mega 360 image issue 4-5 o’clock black section

Curious if this missing section of 360 is normal. Mega 360
iantalled brand new a month ago. I have mega live and target lock mounted on my ultrex. All
dedicated power to master power and house battery. Mentioning because I don’t feel set up is a problem.
Humminbird said it’s possible a crystal is going but but I’ve seen pictures online and YouTube video displaying similar missing segment at the same 4-5 o clock position.
    Thanks.

looks like a shadow of the trolling motor or the Mega Live TargetLock. is the 360 trying to look thru one of those in that area of the water when the trolling motor is deployed?

I was curious of that too but it remains there in deeper water as well. The size reduces just a bit but it remains there.

Yes it is. Not nearly as clear an image as my Mega side imaging.

Yes, that looks like a "blockage" issue to me. There is no reason that a spinning Mega 360 transducer would have a loss of signal at the exact same position in each spin. It's a shaft, another device, or the trolling motor foot that is blocking the signal.

I can't see the image but since your running targetlock, its most likely the ML ducer that's blocking the view. I had to adjust mine numerous times to find the optimal location. You wanna fully deploy it out of the water and look at where they line up. Essentially, you want the 360 to just see under and past the ML ducer. In most forward views, the ML ducer will be able to see below the 360. I couldn't find a perfect location where I didn't get some shadowing on 360, but its pretty manageable if you find the best position.
