How long have you had lithium batteries?

How long have you had your lithium batteries?
Really haven’t seen a thread on longevity of lithium’s batteries.

How long have you had your batteries in your boat?

I installed mine in November 2012.

Out of 3 batteries, I had to replace one this year.

Mine are from Smart Battery…There were not a lot of choices back in 2012.

Purchased 3 ionic 50ah for the trolling motor and 1 Chins 100 ah for electronics earlier this year. Fingers crossed they all last me 10 years or more.

I won a set of BattleBorn Lithiums in a facebook giveaway after I got my boat, which was in 1/2017. So I've had them for roughly 5 years, zero problems. I've had a Monster Marine cranking battery for about a year, but I've only used it a handful of times (haven't fished much)

That's impressive, I'm surprised there was even an appropriate charger in 2012.

I have owned two sets. First was ReLion in 2016. I sold that boat to a buddy and they are still flawless so 6 years for that set. Next set was Impulse. No issues in 2 years.

Relions in 2015 still going strong. I just replace with Ionic, not because anything is wrong with them, I just wanted blue tooth/app to monitor them. Probably sell them.

Ionics 3 years zero problems and I have run them low enough to have the BMS shut them down (damn ranger boats, I did not turn off the power in the back and did not plug it in when I got home. Ranger has larger parasitic draw that sucked them down by next day when I went out to check boat). They recharged and ran perfect.

3 years on my larger ones(50AH or bigger) but up to 6 ears on some of my smaller ones , less than 12AH, that have been used for ice fishing.

They didn’t back then.. used Dual Pro Professional charger that came with my boat.

The cool thing with the batteries…I carried all 3 in at the same time to my boat dealer for installation.

It was the first lithium batteries they had ever installed.

The lady behind the counter came over and picked one up with one finger with the carry strap.

    Ionics 1.5 yrs.
On a weeklong trip last week where there was no electric. I only had a chance to plug in for an hour on Tuesday and then again on Thursday. So I fished Sunday thru Friday with only a couple partial charges and still had 33% left. 36v 112 lb TM. Starting battery was at 100% because we ran the outboard so much.

Three days. I just bought three Ionic 100amps for trolling and a 125amp for starter. My first time on the water was in our weekly fruit jar last night. My new electronics had been draining my starter - problem solved! My MotorGuide Tour Pro will now pull a skier. When we blasted off, my mind was not on my batteries...that is until my Skeeter 225 literally jumped on top of the water. That 180lb loss made a huge difference. I even had to adjust my steering habits in sharp turns. That weight loss has to make an impact on fuel economy! Oh yeah, one more thing, it was very cool to Bluetooth to see the status of the batteries. Me thinks I am going to be a happy boy.

I had heard the minn kota chargers would charge them. Glad to hear from someone that actually used a charger not specifically made for lithium
