    Networking HDS Live with HDS Gen 3

    Will networking a HDS Live with a AI 3 in 1 to a Gen 3 with a totalscan benefit the Gen 3 unit other than sharing wave point & data. Thanks

    Benefit? Not sure what you mean. You can sync waypoints and share sonar transducers including the AI 3in1. Is that a benefit to you? Make SURE your Gen 3 is updated to Version 18.2 software or you WILL have issues.

    I guess what I mean about benefit. The Gen 3 doesn't support the AI 3n1 transducer. So having them linked would not change that? Or will the gen 3 be able to use the sonar, di, ss from the AI 3n1 transducer?

    Assuming the Gen 3 is running the latest software, yes it will.
