    Solix to Apex

Upgrading from G1 Solix to Apex. Do I back up and copy settings or just my mav data?

No settings, you'll have to recreate that on the Apex unit. All other waypoints, tracks, etc. needs copied over to the new unit.

Thank you. I figured as much, but thought best to ask.

It depends on what software version you have on the Apex.

If your Apex has 4.xxx software, then you can just network the 2 units and your settings and NAV Data will be replicated.

If your Apex has 5.xxx software, then you will need to start fresh on the settings and you will need to export your NAV data to a SD card on the Solix and Import it from the SD card on your Apex.

Thanks guys. I moved my Nav data over and working through the details on setup. Takes a bit to figure out where things are located in the new software, but I'm figuring it out.
