    Mercury V8 300 dts repower

Hey Guys - I have a new to me pair of Mercury V8 300 CMS DTS (3B216004) motors that I'm gathering all the components to get rigged and running into a roadblock

I currently have these parts and harnesses:
    892451T25
    87-893353T04 Mercury - Key switch-dual - 87-893353T04
    84-8M0157213 Mercury - Helm Harness - 84-8M0157213
    84-899785K30 Relay Harness Kit
    8M0133240 Gen2 DTS Control

I am stuck on the clean power harness. I can see in the installation manual it talks about the 2 pin harness which as far as I can tell is
8M0113732. but then I also see Mercury Next Gen Clean Power Adapter & Harness # 8M0187441 & 8M0158087. Would these be used together or is the second set of parts not applicable? The battery is near the motor. I am looking to get everything I need together while I wait for the dealer to fit me in.

    Any guidance would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

Wonder if partsvu will come out and program the DTS?

Burningfuel: Tim has a very good point (above).

The other factor is that I'm not sure where the part numbers you have came from, but when rigging DTS boats, it's imperative that the WHOLE picture be considered, so that the right components can be specified from the engine to the keyswitch and instrumentation, including controls, remote trim, touch start, and steering (at a minimum).

This is usually configured either with Mercury's tool, or by a specialist that is very versed in all of the components. I can tell you I would use their tool (though I might audit things at the end) as it helps to build the entire system, and helps to catch those items that are easily missed.

I have a Mercury dealer lined up to program it all I'm just trying to get all the parts I need as the appointment is pretty far out there.

Most of the part numbers came from the Mercury Next Generation Digital Throttle and shift DTS controls and rigging guide. All set now though the dealer got back to me and answered my questions.

That's awesome. More than glad to help, but it's usually better for the one who is putting the system together to continue with it (since they are familiar with the layout and each component being installed).
