HDS Pro 16 - Issues after last update

Hi Guys - throwing this out to see if anyone else is having a similar issue after the last update and active target update. I'm running a single pro 16 at the console and 2-12's at the bow, one pro, one live.

Running software version 70.1.41 on the Pro 16, running version 67.3.32 on the pro up front and 65.1.18 on the live up front. I know the 2 units up front are due for an update.

Ever since i updated the 16, every time I start it up it asks if I want to run in retail mode, I select no, then it asks if i want to configure the devise for typical use now.

Then if I try to save a waypoint on any unit(they're networked together) the 16 will give me a message -

    Memory is low.
    • To avoid losing data, please try:
    • purging deleted waypoints and routes.
    • Clearing alarm history.
    • Deleting Sonar and radar log files.

I don't have an alarm history, nor do I have sonar or radar log files.

Anyone else have this or have any suggestions?

I don't want to update the 2 12's then have them acting up.

Before the update, it was working perfectly, now its beyond frustrating.

    Appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

    Thanks!

I'd do a hard reset and reinstall the update from a SD card and see how it acts.

you need to be running the same software (current updates) on all the units in your network.

Do not do a hard reset until you set up your units correctly you will have issues Start by the same Software updated on all units. Even if that means putting it to 23.3 if an until you do this enjoy your issue they will not go away untill you have common updates all units.

I just had an issue with routing after an update.
Lowrance had me go to the restore defaults tab.
Uncheck all boxes except for global. Press ok.
It worked for me and he recommended this after any issues after an update.
Let us know how you make out.

The way you said that I thought I may have said something incorrect.
I went out to my boat (in the rain) lol, and indeed looked at my unit and that is what he told me and it worked.
If it at all means anything, this was my smaller battery only boat with only one Lowrance unit and not my larger with two.
Although, I'm not sure if that means anything.
