    GSM/Baits.com/Yamamoto ordering online

    I've been fishing Yamamoto products since Gary and his son had the store out in Arizona, and they are terrific baits. I recently placed an order on Baits.com, and my experience has been terrible. Their Customer Service over the telephone can be as bad as it gets. I placed this small order (~$100 value) online shortly before the 15% Memorial Day discount was announced, since my package had not yet shipped, I telephoned to ask if the 15% discount could be applied retroactively. I was told no, that it was not possible. Now, nine days later, my package is still in Texas, being processed through shipping, and GSM cannot provide an estimated arrival time. The agent tells me they're going to ship me a new order, so I asked if GSM could apply the 15% discount now, and I was told no.

    I also asked the same questions in an email to the GSM help address. I got no answer.

    Is anyone else experiencing poor customer service with GSM online ordering through Baits.com?

    Taking your business elsewhere in the future is the best bet!

    I would ask to cancel the order without explanation and then go back in and re-order with the discount provided.
