Is something wrong with my transducer?

I started to have the rocking image issues and had to get with support to get the update installed. We think it was a corrupted sd card. So now I'm fully updated but I feel like I lost definition on my images outside of 50'. I started to look at the transducer and the rubber or plastic on the bottom isn't straight. Is this an issue that could contribute to lack of definition?

No expert here but doubt very seriously that rough edge of "rubber" affects anything.......Garmin has an issue with some of these ducers where the stabilization has gone out....so that could be your issue... have you tried it out after you got it updated?
