    Blew a tire today

I was on my way home from fishing today when I realized my left side tore looked low. I was close to home and barely made it. Changed it in the driveway thankfully.

I purchased some tires many years ago, maybe more than 5
I haven't fished a ton the past two years so I imagine the tie just dry rotted. I thought I bought them at Tractor Supply on the recommendation of someone here on the site. Provider radial ST, 215 75 R 14, shingle axle, so load rating D. Speed rating was 108 103M?

Are they no longer available? I see a lot of folks are moving to GY endurance tires in the same speed and load rating

    Thanks!
    Eric

I run those Providers they are really good. E-Trailer sells them. You prolly can find them local to you too.

I had good luck with them. Thanks for the reply. I'll look around for them.

I've had the provider from e-trailer years ago when load D's made in the USA were not available. They worked great for me but I replaced them at year 3 to 4 for Endurance because I believe all boat tires should be replaced every 4 years no matter the usage. My current boat came with the Endurance and are 18m old. I will replace them at year 4 with about 15k miles on them.

Tires are like car batteries; depreciable items. I don't want to push them to total failure. At 4 years they are near fully depreciated in my book and I don't want damage to my trailer related to tire failure. I did a 1000 mile drive Saturday and having a blown tire would have made a tough day a terrible day.
