Motor bouncing while on tilt cylinder

Sorry for all the questions but I’m trying to get my outboard back into shape it should be in. My outboard bounces when on the tilt cylinder and tilting down, mainly when in the water. I have tightened the tube as much as it will go. I’m thinking that part number 0434691 is what I need. Am I correct? What other parts should I replace at the time I replace this? My motor is E200FHLSTS

You want to install a new swivel bracket?? Try loosing up the tilt tube nut one turn possibly. How is the fluid level? Have you tried bleeding the unit using the manual release valve? That is a lot of work to replace the bracket. I'd try a new trim motor before replacing the bracket.

I have ordered a rebuild kit for the trim unit and going to do that. What I was looking to replace was the tube itself but I’ll try rebuilding the unit and loosening the nut first. Thanks for the response.
