    Brunswick marine sales.

Hello. So on Bass fan the story about Brunswick showed declines in each segment. Boat sales were $ 374 million. So how many boats for the year. On average 60- 120 K boats they make. So my guess is around 500 boats for the year. Are builders getting 7 - 10 boats out a week. Thanks. BC

A buddy of mne who works many spring sports shows tells me that boat sales are dead as a hammer.

New and used? It seems like used boats are still moving pretty good in at least some areas.

It's know wonder the new boat market has stalled. Look at the prices of boats. Also the uncertainty of the economy and high interest rates. It was only a matter of time before the market stalled. I feel bad about the men and women in this industry that may loose their jobs, but it the manufactures fault. Now it's up to them to figure out how to get people to be able to afford a new boat.

I don't think boat prices are going to come down. The tarrifs have not been factored into pricing yet.

They ain't coming down but Bass Boat sales have stalled and will continue to go down. Hard to justify that money for something the entire family isn't using. Pontoons are still selling but are down from the COVID era. Prices may not come down but these companies don't have to stay in business either.

Several reps from large boat companies that have worked in the marine industry their entire lives have retired because it isn't worth their time anymore.

This is why I fear there will be manufactures going out of business and lots of people losing their jobs. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying people just can't afford these prices.

I keep hearing about rising prices for everything, but nothing about raising your income to keep up with it.
