Cost of Mercury/Quicksilver 2 Stroke Oil

Just bought a gallon of Quicksilver. Been a few years since I purchased. Curious as to when and how rapidly cost of this went up. Seems only a few years ago, I was paying half of what I paid today.
    $36 for a gallon.
    Any input or alternatives appreciated.

Quicksilver is a BRAND, not a grade of oil. They offer several different types and versions of 2-stroke oil in gallons.

Part number from the container would be great... second best is exactly what the label says.

ALL of them have gone up significantly in the last 5 years.
