    36 V Ultrex won't steer and motor won't spin

Just replaced the steering sensor because it would only steer to the right. First time back out on the water since replacing it it would steer fine but motor would barely spin. I have a volt gauge just for the Ultrex and it reads 39.7 volts. Testing it on the trailer but totally deployed now it will not steer and motor won't spin. I took the bottom lower unit bolt out of the motor and it looks dry. Just motor brush powder on it. Took the plate off the bottom of the foot pedal and I get 39.7 volts going into the black circuit board but not coming out of it. Not sure if there is something that triggers the board to kick out voltage to the motor? If I take the cap of the head of it and put 39.7 volts directly to the motor it spins. If I put 12 volts to the steering motor it steers. Swapping the neg and pos wires around makes it steer left or right. It won't work with the remote either. I can turn the prop speed up (and see it change on the remote) and down but it doesn't do anything to make the motor spin. The trolling motor head unit beeps like it's getting a command to change prop speed or change steering. So...is the board bad? This board?:

At this point you are better off bringing it to an ASC and have them look at it. Maybe a pain for you to do it but it'll save you a lot of heartache.
