    motor help

    hey guys, I have a 2000 johnson HO 225, which lost all compression in the #2 cyclinder last weekend during my tournament. I need to know if anybody knows anyone who carries rebuilt or new poweheads that would fit my motor. thanks

    I know a guy in JAX that can rebuild yours or sell you a short block or long block depending on what you want. Reasonable too.

    thanks, called them the other day and they said they would come get mine and rebuild it for 4100, not sure if I wan to forked out quite that much for a rebuilt block and still have to use a carb'd motor

    The guy in JAX is way cheaper than that and so am I. I just didn't realize where Crestview was thought it was closer to JAX than that.
