    Exhaust tube coming off

2018 250 ProXS on a Z521 Ranger. Noticed that my motor sounds different at startup from before. Found that the tube that goes from the ‘muffler’ to the back exit of the cowling had come off at the muffler side. Slipped back on, and reassembled. Came off again after 2 hours use. Going to try to glue it in place, but wanted to see if there was any other options. It’s a pain to do - you have to remove the lower leg cowlings. Thanks

Are you sure you're seating it properly? Doesn't require glue, and if it's coming out repeatedly, the tube or the muffler may be compromised.

This usually happens after very aggressive reverse operation, fast launching the boat, poor-running or backfiring engine, or possibly jumping out of (and back into) the water.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Forum Announcements, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!
