    Flowers in the springtime.....

My wife, now retired, has always wanted more flowers in her garden. She came up with an ingenious way to hide our cellar that sits smack dab in our front yard. Our leftover brick from house build went to great use. She started a small herb garden in the backyard that isn't complete, yet. Next, she wants to spruce up a messy garden on the west side and then go to the other side of the house and start another flower bed project. I guess there's no end to it, but I do like flowers in the springtime.

    Nice place Okie
There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

    Hi Mike.

Is that like a bomb/hurricane shelter?

the only time I’ve seen a cellar like that up this way is for the old colonial time homes that have a fruit cellar built into the ground

Pretty much, somewhere underground to get into if a tornado comes through.

In case of tornados, jump in the flowers.

My wife's father was anal about everything he did, always over-protective. Smartest man that I've ever known. It could easily be a bomb shelter as far as I know. It will hold 8-10 people comfortably.
