    Glidebaits in MN?

So I've caught fish on glidebaits here, but from what I've experienced there's not really a point in throwing them other than just doing something new and having fun. They're also expensive and tiring to throw all day. I've had too many followers that disappear after they see the boat. Seems like the only times I've ever really caught fish on them is when I'm fishing for spawn and post spawn largemouth. Anyone think that you're getting a bite on a glide that you can't get on anything else?

Great question! I have only experimented with them from time to time, so not a great resource. I normally feel like I might as well be muskie fishing. Basically the same size gear, but much smaller fish.
The biggest I normally fish with are like 5 or 6 inch Spark Shads or Magdrafts. Plus, my carpal tunnel starts acting up more with the heavier gear.

I usually have a glide on the deck and throw it out in a area to see if there are any fish. 4-5 or 6" they all seem to work well for followers.

If there are bass on bottom on structure they will show themselves w a glide.

I have not caught many fish on a glide bait but I dont throw it much. I have had some giants follow in Texas.

Same here, a few non-committal fish on glide baits in MN, I do catch a bit more on them in SC and FL. But even at that a 6 inch seems to be a better overall option than larger offerings for me at least.
