Looks good new…need to see it after a season of fishing.
I had that in the floor of my 2020 921. Had mixed feelings about it. Was a bear to keep clean. Did not get it on my new ZXL.
They talk way too much. I had to fast forward to get to the end product, then went back looking for the install. Didn't see it. Surely they didn't install this on top of the carpet.
Looks good.
Noticed exposed carpet around the panels. I'm not a fan of that look. If left on for a season or 2, I suspect if removed you could see the outline of the panels from the slight fade of exposed versus unexposed carpet since they are saying it's removable. Since each boat is custom designed, can the exposed carpet shown in the video be completely covered ? How thick is this product ? It just does not appeal to me.
I guess that I'm just old school but I don't care for that look. Inside the cockpit area is fine but I much prefer carpet on the decks.
I am very sceptical of EVA foam installed on top of carpet. What the heck will it look like when and if you remove it or have to replace it? Will it leave a nasty glue and thin layer of foam when you try to remove it, will the replacement stick well to the possible mess under there. Will it stay stuck to the carpet with water able to get under it and then being heated in the sun (basically steaming it from underneath). Will it hold water under the foam in the carpet that will stink like a dead animal and grow tons of mold and mildew? Will it shrink with time like the oem cockpit matt in my ranger has and leave a 1/4" to 3/8" ring of glue around the edges that ends up filthy and looks like krap? Will the edge begin to lift after 3-4 years as the oem cockpit mat has in my ranger? I love it in the cockpit area directly applied to the fiberglass even with its shrinking and lifting edges, its worth having to replace that area every 5 or so years to get the benefits of its quick drying (when applied directly to a hard surface) and the ease of rinsing away the fish slime and sand that ends up in the cockpit area.

what happens in rain, bet it does not want to dry out under it. Many decks are padded how's that work?

Same…and a lot easier and cheaper to replace. I do like something other than carpet in the cockpit. Rangers “traction pad” has been the best option I’ve seen. The reflex floor in my Cat needs constant cleaning. I’ve found the best method is simple green and drill with circular brush.
IMO it looks cool, but how soft is it? I like to kick off my shoes and stand on the carpet.
I don’t think this foam on carpet is a good idea and I doubt it stays stuck.
I’m not a fan of carpet in boats and would have bought an ”Intercoastal” type boat when I bought my Vexus but I didn’t want to spend Bullet or Bog O money on a boat. I had my Vexus built with white polyurea liner. Much easier to keep clean than carpet and cooler on bare feet than the carpet in my old Triton.

Looks Great
A few things; don’t like it being installed on the carpet, long term adhesion seems suspect, fishing in the rain would make drying the carpet underneath a real issue. Could cause a possible mold/rot concern. As far as ruggedness and maintaining its appearance, I have had a duck boat in the past with a similar product installed and it looked great after three seasons, installed some on a few other duck/fishing combos that looked great after several years of use. If it can handle waterfowl hunting and come out looking great, fishing alone won’t be an issue.

At best it's a short term way to dress up a boat like a wrap. If you're keeping the boat like most of us it's going to start to peel before you want it to. Might be a way to dress up a worn carpet though. Looks pretty nice..

You'd think my seadeck looked like a crime scene most of the time and you would be right. At least the one time it's been truly clean since I bought it was the day it was involved in a rare bird chasing adventure on the lake. The photographer got muddy prints on my freshly clean seadeck! Oh well, it's easy enough to clean. It's a floating tank and not a glass glitter rocket so no one expects it to look pristine to begin with...at least not the people I choose to hang around. I hate carpet in boats and will probably go the Amazon seadeck route next time and do a "good enough for who it's for" trim job.
