    Fixed it!
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

Having stood below the dam and fished there the images and videos today are hard to believe. Terrible flooding down there along with SD and Iowa.

All of this water is heading south. We’ve all seen this before once it gets to the Mississippi River. We have more big storms coming through tonight.

My daughter lives just outside Mankato with her boyfriend and goes to school in St. Peter. She called me about the Mankato dam this morning. And I have two co-workers who are gone today due to the flooding in our area. Just a few months ago we were considered to be in extreme drought. I know it's been quite a few years since I was having to mow my yard twice a week this late into June, but we've had consistent rain since March. And looking at the forecast, I see we've got more chances for rain/thunderstorms four out of the next seven days.

Didn't realize how bad the flooding was in the region until speaking with my youngest brother yesterday (he's in SW Iowa).

Prayers and hoping the best for all the folks up there.

We fished a bass tournament on Smith lake once in an ABT a few years ago and the water came up six or seven ft overnight. And it came up another four or 5 ft the next day. The way they play with the water levels on the Tennessee River they can move two or three feet in a day if they want to. Are these dams just not capable of holding or releasing that much water up there. And are these areas up there just super flat and not able to carry this much water? Looking at pictures of some of these rivers up there, They look like creeks to what I'm used to. Some of them anyway..

La Croix doesn't have any dams on it, lots of lakes up there that don't
