    MY GOD, those are the biggest friggin snappers Ive ever seen. How'd you get em?

    they were in an old gravel pit that i drained. i saw one and then went to looking for some more. wading out in a foot of water with a stick poking around and found these two grabbed them and threw them in the truck .

    I've never seen one that big much less two, biggest one I've ever seen up here was 38 pounds, those hogs look t be pushin 60

    The big one weighed 90 lbs. We weighed it. I think the smaller one weighed about 65 or 70

    They're alligator snapping turtles. Regular snappers don't get even close to that big. Alligator snappers can get way up into triple digit weights. You find em' in a lot of swamps throughout the south.
